A meeting between the ruling CPN-UML, UCPN (Maoist) along with the main opposition Nepali Congress and Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha is scheduled to be held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar at 5 pm on Friday.

The CPN-UML standing committee meeting is underway to discuss the agenda of today’s meeting.A source close to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said that the Prime Minister will hold meetings with Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Party Chairman Mahanta Thakur and Sangiya Samajwadi Forum Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav prior to today’s meeting.
TMLP Chairman Thakur and SSFN Chairman Yadav arrived at Kathmandu on Thursday, a day when Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Kamal Thapa arrived from New Delhi, India.
Today’s talks will focus on passing the two amendment bills at the Parliament and the issue of state delineation.
